The aftermath of a resignation
Yesterday I submitted my resignation letter to my immediate supervisor. He took it quite well, I guess. But now, the real challenge starts.
I currently have one offer on my hand and another on the way. I’m still waiting for the others to give me a call back and planning to walk in one of them next week. I have to decide on one of these offers by the end of next week. Hopefully I get to negotiate on their compensation packages.
Other than that, I’m practically broke. Our salaries have been delayed since the 31st. Fortunately, though it may not be enough, we’ve been given PHP 1,200.00 yesterday afternoon. Now I’m worried that they would hold the rest of my pay, which is scheduled to be given next Friday.
This month is about to get harder.
UPDATE: They didn’t hold my pay on Friday, though it was still incomplete. Hope they don’t hold the rest of my pay this Friday.
